To make it easier on you, and better for the plants, find a tub or baby pool, or some other large container which will hold about 5-6" of water. Set the nursery pots in it, and fill it up to that level. Leave them in it for about 30 minutes, then take them out and make a note of how heavy they feel when fully watered (let excess drain off before hefting). After that, do the same thing every time they feel noticeably lighter. In your climate, that could be every day, especially if the nursery used good fast draining media. The top of the media doesn't need to be wet, so watch them the first time you soak them, and pull them early if the top starts to show moisture.

After they're planted, for the first year, water them regularly, like twice a week or more in hot dry weather. Once they've established themselves, they're more drought tolerant than when new. Drip is always better than sprinkler for grasses. The foliage only needs to be wet when it rains, and you'll use less water and get it straight to the roots with drip.

A tip; Plant out just 9-10 of them along the walkway, and install the rest in a nursery bed somewhere. This way you'll have replacements the same age in case some along the walkway meet their demise.
