Ticks?

| Hello,
I'm just getting into OG's but find myself wondering one important thing before I begin. We live in the country, and have to be very careful about ticks. What's the deal with OG's and ticks? I would think they would love it and therefore be a problem for gardening, children, and pets.

| Ornamental grasses are exactly like wild grasses, brush etc., tick-wise. They can and do provide safe harbor for ticks. Generally, good gardening practices discourage ticks, but if the critters are prevalent in your area, they will find and dwell in any heavy foliage garden plants. |
