Good native grass for shade by garage

I have a bare space in a native flower garden bordering my gurage and our neighbors gurage. We growing Great blazing star, yellow conflower, swamop milkweed and a joe pie weed, 'gateway'.

The space is about 24 or 29 inches long by about a foot and ahalf wide I'd like to plant a native grass that grows in partual shade likes rich damp soil, is non invasive and stays about 4 to 3 feet tall, But the grasses I like all get too big, Indian grass, big blue stem, porcupine grass. Are there grasses that do well for a site like mine that have pritty, seedheads, blade and stem colors or stripes, and are native.
