They're still on Florida greenhouse time. Mine start to bloom in early July, and aren't doing it yet. 'Karley Rose' is my first Pennisetum to bloom, normally, although some of the miniatures I got from SRG last month are blooming now.

The Little Bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium 'Blue Heaven' to be specific, as suggested) I received from SRG were also blooming when I got them. Last fall all the grasses I received had the tops cut off to about 4" tall so I was kind of surprised to see these being so tall and uncut. I had figured they had cut the fall-shipped ones to make shipping easier. None of mine were root bound and are in the ground looking just fine.

They do look good don't they? I am sold on these smaller 4" grasses. They will grow and establish faster than the gallon sized ones you buy locally. And of course, the price is hard to beat if you don't count shipping. That has been my experience. Except I do think I will buy a gallon sized M. Lindheimerii if I can find one that isn't root bound. They had a lot of them at Home Depot and I am going to check out the roots first.
