juncus twisted arrows care in florida?

I just bought one of these interesting grasses today but can not find much info on them relating to growing in FL.
Can if grow in shade, and if so, how much? And is it a perennial down here? I really like it and want it to grow.
Thanks!

This is two grasses, Juncus inflexus and Juncus spiralis, growing together for color and form contrast. In your climate, you could get by with just a couple of hours of sun a day, or all-day dappled shade. The key to them is moist soil. The more sun, the more moisture required.

Great. Actually I broke the one I have up into about 10 smaller pieces to put in different places to see where it will grow best. It did look to me that it was a bunch of individual plants grown together (I think I will look for the spiralis in the future.) And will this be a perennial?
