Weed wacking damage to plumeria

Posted by digigidge 10 (My Page) on

My husband decided to try weed wacking for the first time today. he got too close to my New plumeria, young and just bloomed for the first time this year. It now has several Gouges about 8 inches above the base. I want to know how I can save the plant or repair it before I lose the plant!
Please help me with any advice..
Thank you
Donna

RE: Weed wacking damage to plumeria

Basically, you'll need to wait and see what happens next.

In the meantime, clear a 20-inch zone around the base of the plant of all grass and weeds. Then, there's no need to mash with a mower or whack with a weeder.
