Wide leaves or narrow leaves?

Fat stalk or thin?

Did it look a little like corn?

1 to 1 1/2 inch wide leaves, fat stalks and corn like but it was so thick all the way to the top you could not see through it. I will try and take a picture of it this week and post it.

It may be Arundo donax, AKA Giant Reed.

It could have been Miscanthus 'Goliath' or floridulous.

Could it be any of these?
