Purple Majesty Millet come in dwarf variety?

My millet from seeds is five feet high, my store bought millet is maybe two more inches bigger that when I bought it, could this be a dwarf variety, is there such a thing, or is the little on just unhealthy?

    What happens with store bought millet is that this plant has a big root system and is often root bound by the time you buy/plant it. When this millet becomes pot bound, it quits growing or slows considerably and never seems to recover.
