Please help me identify this grass

I was bikriding on a path in Naperville, Il along the eastern branch of the DuPage river near Gartner and I came upon this grass. I would like to plant this on my yard.
Thank you for your time.

I'm pretty sure it's a huge clump of Pennisetum alopecuroides (Fountain Grass). I can't tell which cultivar from the photo, but if you go back next month, it should be covered with bottle-brush blossoms. Take a photo, closer up, and we may be able to pin it down.

I agree, definitely looks like fountain grass. That's a great addition to any yard, easy to take care of and looks great!
