| Can someone please help me identify the grass on the right (little darker green tufts - are the considered a grass?). This was found in a zone 9 area. Any help is appreciated. |

| It's hard to tell from the distance of the photo, but it may be Festuca scoparia, AKA Bearskin Fescue. Can you post a close-up? |

| They appear to be Armeria maritima, which explains why they're in part shade, maybe only hardy to zone 8. |
