| We moved into our home 3 years ago, we have 4 Morning Lights among the shrub row in the front of our home. 1 on each end, on 2 on each end of the front porch. They were green and beautiful when we moved in, now 1 is doing ok and is still green, the other 3 are turning brown and look like they are dying. It has been very hot and dry, I have been watering them (very well) every 2-3 days for a couple months now but it hasn't seemed to make much difference. They are on the south side of our home, we have a wrap around porch so I would say they are in partial shade, but I assumed it was okay since they were so healthy when we moved in. I can take pictures but I don't know how to post them here! lol Any help would be appreciated.

| It's very hard to say. Although some resources say Miscanthus can live in part shade, by far the majority say it needs full sun. I have plants in as little as 3-4 hours of direct sun, and they are fine. Why were they healthy when you moved in, and now struggling. Perhaps they were newly installed. |
