There are too many to list. You'll have to narrow it down;

Color?
Bloom type and color?
Blade width?
Habit and shape of the plant?
Sun exposure?
Soil type and moisture content?
Cool or warm season?

There was a photo. I've tried sending it again.

That's one of the cultivars of Hakonechloa macra, AKA Japanese Forest Grass, IMO, one of the most beautiful OGs out there.
