Ornamental Grass

When you get those tiny seed and then those tiny plants.....?

I got some tiny seed for something that was to grow seven feet tall. Then, a long story, the package got tossed and I forgot what the name of the grass was.

Anyway, the seed were so small some had sifted out of the package and down onto some books. I thought it was dust but then looked at them with a hand magnifier and figured they were seed.

So I planted "dustings" in a compartmentalized black plastic flat with premixed soil from WalMart and now I have grass about 3mm tall. It is August, what should I do?

A big sunflower leaf fell, covering my six pack of grass and keeping it from being irrigated properly whilst the temperature went to 101Â° and the humidity dropped to about 6% and my tiny grasses have apparently succumb.
