Options: Get used to them as they are, move them to a more appropriate placement, replace them with 'Strictus' which gets about 5 feet tall (before flowering), acquire more knowledge about the plant before planting it! All of the above works too...

If you have neighbors or friends who have raved about your zebra, ask them if they would like to have them. Of course you will provide encouragement and liquid refreshment while they dig.

There is a "new" zebra - Miscanthus s. 'Little Zebra' available today. It grows to 3-4' and has a cold hardiness of (Z5-10).

This might be just what you are looking for!
