What is this fine bladed grass?

Wondering what this grass is. I can get better pics if these aren't good enough.

A patch in the partial sun:

A patch in the shade:

Here, there's other grass and weeds growing up through it, but you get the idea:

It has long, very fine blades, and sort of likes to "lay down" instead of sticking up. It seems to grow in clumps. I know the colours look all over the place in the images (why I posted sun and shade pics), but it's a nice green as opposed to other native fine-bladed grasses here, which tend towards sagey and bluish shades.

This is in north Idaho and it was all over the property about 10 years ago, so I'm also wondering if this grass is ornamental, or actually native?

It's really difficult to say what it is. Probably some sort of native meadow grass. I'd need to see pics of a plant by itself, and also one of its blooms.

What do you mean by blooms though? Sorry, I don't know anything about grasses.

Grasses go to flower, and then produce seed.
