Please help to identify

I was given an ornamental grass several years ago that I dearly loved...I had never seen anything like it before or since. It didn't get very tall, had narrow blue green blades and in August it would bloom these very "airy" blooms that were a definate pink. It got a little to big for the spot where I had it so I split it up and replanted but then donated the extras to our girl scout plant sale fundrasier.

In the mean time we adopted a German Shepherd Puppy who absolutely loves to dig and eat plants...so as you have guessed he has dug up and eaten or destroyed the grass. I want to buy or trade for more but don't know what it is called.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Vicki
