7 copies of C. x a. 'Karl Foerster' arrived from Bluestone today. Tightly packaged in (ugh) styrofoam peanuts, and nicely moist soil.

The foliage is about 8" long, and 50/50 dead and alive. The root systems are 3.5" square by 5" deep and lovely.

I'm going to pot them up for the winter, and I'm assuming, since this is a cool season grass, I can give them a short haircut now. I expect they'll put on some new foliage during the fall, much like other cool season grasses.

Is this correct?
