my pampas grass on pot

Hi folks,

I bought a pampas grass seed at Meijer about 2 or 3 months ago. I placed them in wet paper towel then onto a ziplock. After few days I had germination. I transfered them to a pot. It looks like a regular grass to me even upto this date. However, what made to believe that this is real pampas grass is because I read somewhere that when working on pampas grass, you should wear gloves and long sleeves. Today, I got so curious and went out to touch it. It is true that it is sharp. I'm so glad that what I have here is a real Pampas Grass. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the paper package in order to find out what her cultivar is. Can someone ID it?

Here she is about 16 to 20 inches tall. I have 9 to 10 clumps of it. I will not experiment on her anymore by living her outside. She's very healthy as you can see. So, will they make it inside our house on a sometimes sunny area?

given that no one has answered this in the last 3 wks., i think my laughter is warranted. do you REALLY think someone can I.D. a specific variety of pampas grass in its infancy and without any plumes? come on now, REEEEAAALLY!.......

as to overwintering it, i've not overwintered a pampas indoors but a friend has successfully overwintered another z.7 grass (We are both z.5)by her unheated attic window., keeping it minimally watered.
best,
mindy

Yep, I was wrong. I should not have posted it. It's really tough to id based on picture. :D hehehe. The blades are sharp. Anyways, I planted them on the south side corner of the house. I know it's not going to make it. If it does, I'm lucky. I just couldn't figure out how to squeeze my schedules. I'll keep you posted next year once it dies. Hopefully, it doesn't.
