I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get bear grass(xerophyllum tenex)in Canada? Just looking for seed not plant material. I have been frantically surfing the net. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: bear grass(xerophyllum tenex)

Edward's in Calgary had them this summer in the alpine section, and Fraser's Thimble Farm on Saltspring Island also carried them. (I first ordered from Fraser's, then got more from Edward's! The kickers are that they are slow to develop, and monocarpic...)

By the bye, Xerophyllum tenax are in the lily family and are not actually grasses...
