The grasses right now

I thought I would post some picture of how the grasses are looking now. All the pictures were taken yesterday and this morning except for the first picture.

Dragonfly on Giganteus

Yay dereks, more pics! *LOVE* the Nippon plumes, they are beyond gorgeous. I'm not familiar w/this one, will have to look it up since I think I might need it :~). How tall is giganteus? Thanks for posting!

Thank you for the compliments. It's fun posting pictures. I don't know why I waited so long learn how to do this.
'Nippon' is a small miscanthus. Only five feet tall with plumes and quite narrow. It also blooms earlier than any miscanthus that I know of.
My Giganteus is about 10 feet tall. I don't think the plumes will extend much more. This fall has been a cool one and forcasters are saying cooler weather is on the way next week.
