Blue Fescue clumps.... brown and ..

really in the wrong spot. They got too much sun this summer and I would love to move them. Since I am in zone 7 and we hardly ever have frozen grounds (at least not until January if at all...) Any chance I can move them? or should I just wait until early spring? Thanks (can I at least trim the brown off - they look awful!)

I believe this is considered a cool season grass so moving it now would be ok. I don't know a lot about this plant but I think cutting it back would be fine. If it's not, just winter sow some more. :)
