I was wondering if it is possible to grow miscanthus huron sunrise or huron sunset from seed?

I don't think so, but you might contact the developer of the plants:

Martin Quinn

He'll know. He's a pretty well-known Canadian horticulturist and writer.

I sincerely doubt it. Also, please keep in mind these grasses are PPAF (plant patent applied for), so be carefull if you're not propagating them for your own yard.

Having said that, Huron Sunrise is one of my favorite miscanthus, it is an absolutely beautiful grass, and I think it would be worth it to purchase a couple. I have had Huron Sunrise 3 years, and they are huge clumps, already, and the bloom is just gorgeous!

For a nice picture of Huron Sunrise check out Walters Gardens, and that is exactly what mine looks like.
