Question concerning fast growing Miscanthus varieties

I see the general statements that it takes about 3 years to achieve close to mature growth for Miscanthus. I am interested in knowing, from personal experience, which Miscanthus varieties seem to have grown fast for you. In my case I will be plating in Z7 with hot summers in amended clay.

Three years is about the best you can hope for, unless you pop for a mature or semi-mature plant in a very large pot, for very large money. Even then, it'll be two years..one to recover from being moved from pot to ground, and one to flourish.
