Another ID request

We have this in a planter, but I have started collecting some seeds and was thinking about planting it along the house.
It looks like I may be able to take some of the offshoots and plant them, because it looks as if they are forming roots. I tried to get a good pic of this (#3). The second pic is a newer shoot. The last one is of the seed head and seed. I did the best I could with that one, sorry it's a little blurry. The seed itself looks wrinkly, like when your fingertips are in water too long.
Can anyone ID this for me? Or at least tell me how to seed it? (I.e. start indoors, seed on surface or bury under soil, how much moisture, etc.)
Thanks :)

It looks like a cultivar of Carex morrowii, judging from the leaf markings and offset babies.

I've never grown it from seed, but I use dozens of the offsets per year to start new plants. I have hundreds of Carex specimens in my garden. With the exceptions of C. grayii and C. muskingumensis, I have never had a seed-grown volunteer, so I'll guess they don't germinate easily.

Thanks...I'm pretty sure it's the spider plant. Did some research, and it looks like a pretty cool plant.
