Winter care for Carex tenuiculmis 'Cappuccino' in container

I got this cappuccino carex in the spring and absolutely love it. It's a great container plant and the color right now is gorgeous.

The issue is that most websites say this is only hardy to zone 7, and since it's not in the ground, I'm afraid it's going to die when/if we get a cold spell.

What do you do with marginal grasses in containers? I have a detached, unheated shed. Do I put it in there for the length of the cold spell? I'm afraid bringing it in to my heated home and then back out into the cold will hurt it somehow. Also, when (if at all) and how much do I trim this grass?

I'm a first-year gardener in love with grasses and really don't want to lose this one! Thanks for your help!
