Hi all, I'm new to grasses and am in the process of researching what to acquire for my landscape. I was hoping to receive suggestions for the best tall grasses for my area. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

There are too many potential tall ornamental grasses to list here, but take a look at the chart linked below. It will give you a good place to start.

Thanks for the welcome. There certainly are many to choose from. I was hoping to get a favorite four from those that grow grasses, taking into account beauty, hardiness and availability. Thanks.

Saccharum ravennae
Arundo donax 'Peppermint Stick'
Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus'
Panicum virgatum 'Northwind'

Thanks Donn, I was able to find that last 2 but not the first 2. Do you use an online supplier or do you have a local source?

Both.

Google them, and you'll find lots of sources for both of them.
