Ornamental Grass

Ornamental Grass at Walgreens

Hi folks,

I was at Walgreens today. I was lucky that I had the camera with me. I like these grass a lot. I don't recall seeing large plumes on the top. I've already seen this 2 months ago but I didn't have my camera with me. I also pulled one long strip that time and I remember, the light haylike color flower(maybe still called plume) was soft.

Can someone please id it?

I found it guys! While searching a plant at images.google.com, I saw feather reed grass. :) So, it's feather reed grass.

Do you agree folks?

I am glad you asked this because one of our Walgreens here in Knoxville,Tn. has the same grass and I have wondered about it myself.

Hey Sara,

I found more picures of ornamental grasses on the internet. It almost looks like Karl Foerster Grass.
