Frost damage on ice plant

I live at 4500 in SE Arizona. We just had a record breaking cold snap. The temperature hit 4 degrees which is much colder than any winter that I have lived here. My ice plant has been damaged in the past when it hit the teens in a few spots but this time all 3 large patches have lost all green pigment. It is now a brownish yellow. The stems are still green if you cut them.

Do you think the plant is done for?

Hard to say :-) There are a good number of plants that go by the common name of 'ice plant' and they will vary in hardiness but many are considered hardy to zone 5 and some to zone 4. If one of these, 4F is well within their tolerance level. You'll just have to wait until spring and new growth begins to see how much damage these plants may have experienced.
