Blue Star Creeper

I have 6 flats of Blue Star Creeper [Laurentia Fluviatilis (Isotoma)] for a 350-square-foot garden.

How many "plugs" of this groundcover can I get from each flat?

How far apart should the plugs be planted?

How long will it take for this groundcover to fill the spaces?

RE: Blue Star Creeper

Are these solid or "grower's" flats? If so plugs should be no smaller than 1" square (I'd go with ~ 2" square). For optimum coverage, I'd space 6-8" apart. You can space wider to maximize your plants but coverage will be slower. Blue star creeper in my area fills in pretty rapidly. By this time next year you should have a full carpet.
