Ceratostigma plumbaginoides (Plumbago) plants

Has anyone planted these before? I am going to use them for ground cover in our front yard. I just need to know when to plant them outside. I am going to buy the plants from a local nursery here, so when should I get them and plant them outside? I suppose I could ask the people at the nursery, but I don't plan on going there until I am ready to plant them.

Ceratostigma is a wonderful plant. Extreamly drought tollerant. It will die to the ground in the winter. Many people think that their plant didn't make it through the winter because it's very late to break dormancy.
