I have a big Oleander growing. I put rocks around it in a circle and going to put red mulch around it.Also I am growing a "Purple Jew" as we call it. Could I plant the cuttings from the Purple Jew I am growing into the mulch. Would it kill the Oleander or be bad for it?

No one has replied yet. My dad grows the purple jew in pots and in the ground as a summer annual. It is a vigorous grower, but also breaks off easily, so wouldn't think it would cause a problem with a larger plant.

How has it grown for you? I would think purple jew needs water, water, water in Texas.
