GC for slope near salted road

Does anyone have a recommendation for GC for a sloped area that is between a row of Colorado Spruce and Doug Fir trees and our street which is salted in the winter? The slope is too steep to mow safely and I need to cover an area about 6-8 feet wide and about 150-200 ft of frontage.
The area receives afternoon sun.
