Help please?

Does any one know of an evergreen groundcover which does well, spreads fast, in full sun with wet feet? I want something that won't get over 6" maybe 8" for a small area between 2 small ponds. Flowers aren't important, but a plus of course :)
I'm not having any luck after 2 hrs googling, lol.
Thank you,
Daniella

Wet feet because of the ponds overflowing? See if you can find Potentilla Fruticosa, native to bogs, they have yellow, white, pink & orange blooms, yellow being the hardiest but might get up to 24".

Here is a link that might be useful: Propagating Perennials

bullthistle, thank you..I just was looking that up, and most sites say it doesnt like wet feet, then some say it does, lol. It's too tall for what I need though. I know I am being extemely picky, but I have a little frog log downspout thing my son bought me, to use as the exchange for water to go from the smaller pond to the bigger pond. I dont want that log getting completely covered up. Just want something to grow around the sides.
I am looking more for something like creeping phlox. If that could stand wet feet it would be perfect. A nice thick short matted type.

Thanks,
Daniella

Creeping Jenny "Lysimachia Nummularia". But it only gets 2-3" tall. The gold leafed(Aurea)is prettier with tiny white flowers.

How about European ginger? 6" tall, glossy glossy round green leaves, very attractive, and quite hardy
