| I am getting so overwhelmed with the choices of ground cover available, anyone have some good suggestions for San Diego weather (Zone 10)? I live in Hillcrest, have fairly dry soil, and get sun on different parts of the lawn throughout the day (East facing).
I am looking for something low growing, doesn't need a lot of water and stays green throughout the year. I was thinking of creeping thyme, but someone said they need a lot of water? Any other thoughts? |

| Use this. Stepables is not the only company that sells lawn substitutes; their site just happens to have nice search functionality. Also, thyme does not need a lot of water, hence its popularity as a groundcover for dry areas. |
