anybody have three-leaved stonecrop? (sedum ternatum)

I found this when I was searching for a native groundcover to replace the pachysandra I'd like to remove.

I mainly need to know if it would do ok around tree-roots and not be too aggressive for the other shade perennials nearby.

From the description, it sounds like it could be ok, but I'd like to hear about anybody else's experience with it.
