Need Purple/Blue ground cover

Can anyone recommend a flowering ground cover that meets the below criteria:

1. Color is purple or blue
2. Grows no higher than 6 inches
3. Has somewhat large seeds
4. Grows fast from seed

I have a border area that I'm trying to fill in. I've already tried sweet alyssum and those tiny seeds are not cooperating. Also tried lobelia. I'm now open to a ground cover type plant.

Would this fit the bill? Speedwell georgia blue (oxford blue) Vernonica peducularis. Do a search in the perennials forum for Speedwell Georgia Blue. I have a fairly new post there (which I added to an 2012 post) where someone else posted pics and it's beautiful. i would paste the link but can't get my tablet to copy (doesn't play nice with posting on this site).
