Hi, i have a long bank about 80 ft. x 8 ft. I planted vinca all along it completely forgetting to pull the weed barrier up. The bank is already mulched. So my question is will the vinca be able to grow with the weed carpet? The carpet is about 5 yrs. old.

It will not become invasive that's for certain. It all depends what affect you want if you want it to fill in then rake up the mulch and pull the weed barrier out. Get ready for blisters.
