Blue Star Creeper anyone?

Gritz

I've recently put in some raised vegetable beds and wanted to plant some groundcover around the beds that could be walked on and wasn't a lawn. My local nursery suggested I try some Blue Star Creeper. I was completely taken by its adorable little white blooms, I bought several flats of it and planted them. Now I'm reading that for some people, this plant is extremely invasive while others can't say enough good things about it. I'm also reading that its highly toxic which totally freaks me out because its right next to my vegetables!!

I can't decide if I should rip this stuff out now before it takes root. What are others experiences with it? And is it actually toxic? I'm having a hard time finding anything that states its toxic to humans (or cats, I have a cat) not that I would intentionally eat the stuff. But you never know...
