I have many cuttings of purple heart wandering jew that I recently planted from pot to ground, to be used as a ground cover. I planted the wandering jew apart from my other garden plants but wanted to keep a uniform look with the bark mulch edging. Will the mulch hamper the growth of the wandering jew in any way? It's been in the ground about a week now and looks lively. I'm just concerned because I want it to spread. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
