| I have been asked to revitalize a large neglected Vinca bed. It is a mess, awful soil, sad looking Vinca. I just read the infomation about feeding vinca and I plan to get some cottonseed meal to help the soil. What I was wondering is this; can I mow the vinca? I would like to get the vinca that is there healtier and get down and work the soil. This bed needs to look good by Aug. I have never grown vinca and I am clueless to what to do. Please HELP!!! |

| Vinca minor is not a fast grower so I would not advise mowing it. The best way to clean it up is using the good old hand method. Clip off any dead parts of the plants and sprinkle the cottonseed meal around them. Then water, water, water!!! |
