What is the hardiness difference between outside growing ivy and the smaller leaf varities that are used as house plants? Can I winter over the house type outside to use year after year in my area of zone 6 or must they be brought inside?

Thanks.

Tardy reply...

I haven't found any difference in varieties. But the fact that some of the plants have lived protected indoors might make it tough for them the first winter. Changing plant locations causes stress, and the bigger the difference the bigger the stress, and risk of plant loss.

For what it's worth
