| The previous owner planted these in our shade garden, and I have no idea what they are.
Can someone help? Lots of thanks.

first two are geramiums. 3rd one might be a buttercup. keep sendinf pictures as the plants mature/flower. i clicked onto your photo bucket site and plant #6 you have in your slide show is not a vibrunum, its fothergillia (check my spelling) diggerb |

| Do geraniums come in ground cover? The second plant has stamens in the flower so I don't think that's one. I know the viburnum is not one - it was sold as one but obviously, the person was wrong. |

| I believe the fourth one is a sprengerli fern. Check this website: http://www.florida-agriculture.com/consumers/sprengerli |

| I think the second one is a geranium also, and possibly the first one too. Could the last one be an astilbe? I'm having trouble making out the photo. :) Dee |

| thanks for the ID's. The last one is an astilbe - I saw one at the nursery. Never knew geraniums came as ground cover, but I do now. Thanks again. |

| Hardy perennial geraniums do grow as ground covers. |

| The first one is Geranium sanguinum Striatum. The next one might be Geranium macrorrhizum. See if it has a strong smell kind of like a Christmas tree or conifer. The third and last could be Astilbes, you can tell if they bloom. |
