Groundcover near azaleas?

My front bed is semi-circular in shape. I have 8 azaelas, 2 rhodis, 3 ferns growing with 2 Japanesse maples at the far corners defining the bed. Can I grow baby's tears in between the other plants? I don't want it to be invasive. Can I keep this in check? Also, I want the whole bed to look greeen and lush after spriong time flowering and fall time flowering is done. Please give me your suggestions. This bed is in the north east side and receives a lot of morning sun and afternoon shade.

Sounds like conditions Baby's Tears would like. This is not what I consider an invasive groundcover. It spreads well but not aggressively and likes a rich, evenly moist soil and part shade. It should provide the lush appearance you are looking for.
