 o
groundcover for turfstone pavers

i tried growing grass in the turfstone last 2 years, looked great but required too much water to keep it maintained.

looking for an alternative to grass that is drought tolerant, low growing and tough enough to grow in the turfstone- ie my driveway. los angeles, full sun, north facing.

in the non traffic areas, i've just planted irish moss and i think, dichondria ( it was growing in my side yard). too soon to tell if it it will take.

for the area that will get the most car traffic, i'm at a loss...

clover?
some sort of thyme?
dymondia?

last resort, fake grass?
