I'm looking for a relatively cheap groundcover that can deal with a bit of foot traffic, ie the lawnmower rolling (but not mowing) over it ever couple of weeks, so nothing too tall. It's a partially shady but fairly dry area bordered by a large camellia and some callalilies. I just can't deal with looking at this weedy, plant free spot anymore.
You might get some good ideas looking at the Stepables website. Some nurseries carry their plants or the same varieties. Do you like Ajuga? It is very vigorous.
