I have a steep hill and is full sun and need a fast growning ground cover. Something that is low maitance and very fast growing. What is there out there and how fast does it take to grow?

Thanks for your help.

RE: ground cover

Well you aren't going to get instant gratification, nothing grows at light speed. But you could try blue rug junipers, even if you buy a bunch they will take a few years to fill in. My favorite daylilies, if you get the orange species fulva like you see on the roadside it will fill in rather quickly. It spreads from runners under ground, eventually you are going to end up with more than you bargained for. Or you could choose from a number of the prettier cultivators, they don't multiply as quickly, but the roots of daylilies help hold the soil in place also. If you live in Ga you are in perfect daylily country! Hope these suggestions help.
