I have it growing in my yard. It can be used as a groundcover. Usually bulbs are planted in the fall, however I pulled up a clump & planted in the summer elsewhere, and they grew right away. This is considered a weed by some. I find it indestructible. Mine does not go dormant in winter, and it blooms continually through summer & is very pretty.
