What to plant where A/C water drains out?

Odd question

We recently had our heat pump replaced and as a result they had to move the pipe that spits out the water when the a/c runs.

From now until early October, the a/c will be on a lot. I'm in Central Virginia. It is already producing puddles in the new location and we haven't gotten to the real hot weather yet where it will run almost 24/7.

I'd like to plant some sort of low ground cover that loves wet feet for most of the year, in clay soil, and can tolerate mostly shade (although it will get a bit of morning sun at best). Tall order I know.

We do have some moss out back behind a tree...I was thinking of trying to transplant some of that but that would take quite sometime to establish I think.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
