roofers destroyed pachysandra

| Where they stepped off their ladders and onto the pachy, the leaves of the pachy are gone. Just the stems remain, but are trampled. The edges of the beds are fine, so there's a weird strip in the center of the bed where it looks just awful. It's a pretty large ugly strip, maybe 6 feet wide and 9 feet long. Not sure what to do. Will it come back? Should I dig up the good outer edge and plant it in the center? Water it? Your thoughts, please. |

| Destroyed! You couldn't destroy Pachy if you nuked it. Granted I'm sure it looks bad right now but take my word for it, in no time those bare areas will be thriving again. If you want to cut the bare stems go ahead. If you want to leave them that's alright also but, take it from me, once Pachy is established, you could cut it with a lawn mower and not get rid of it. -Mike |
