Ajuga vs. lamium -- which will win out?

| I've got some ajuga (I think it's burgundy glow) that is starting to spread under a small grove. I love lamium, though, and am going to put some (m. Red Nancy) on the other side of the grove. Assuming they meet in the middle after a few years, would one be stronger than the other? I would pull for the lamium, but would prefer to keep a combo going on. Anyone seen this kind of groundcover battle?

| Okay, I'll answer my own post. Visited the garden center and they said ajuga would win hands down, and that it could take over my lawn, and anything else in its path. Wow! |
